The Analyze tab interprets the IP inventory data found during Discovery, and determines valuation of free IPv4 space based on the current network structure.
The Analysis tab will accept a giant blob of IP data from the Discovery step and show how much the free IPv4 public space is worth according to Hilco's rate tables, and then will implement a sorting / packing algorithm to attempt to free up as much as possible. Techniques we should use include resizing subnets to avoid waste, renumbering subnets to gather together unused IP space. It will then show how much more money will be available if our advice is followed. This will grow more complex & in-depth over time, but for now we need to focus on fast and simple. I would like Stoycho to look into this.

To make changes to a block, right click anywhere on a row to open the Action Menu. Click “Reinitialize” in the header after any changes.
